McPhee Red Angus 9-25-21

McPhee Red Angus 1 Greetings from McPhee Red Angus, Please join us in celebrating our 50th year of raising Red Angus. Our patriarch, Roy McPhee, was drawn to Red Angus 50 years ago because the breed was the first and only to provide and require performance data on their registration certificates. It all started here at McPhee Red Angus with five heifers and a bull, and 50 years later, four generations of McPhees are involved in this ranch. Our cowherd winters up in the Sierra foothills to raise their calves, and then are brought down to summer irrigated when calves are weaned, where they will calve again. This offering of bulls was grown out at the ranch in a large pen where they had access to irrigated pasture with plenty of room for exercise. This set of bulls includes a real Opportunity! Lot 1 McPhee Opportunity 118 is a young herdsire who we used naturally last fall on our replacement heifers. He is from the proven maternal line of Royce’s Sensational 14, who sold in 2016 for a record $54,000 at the Mile High Classic Sale in Denver. We are also offering 8 long-yearling and 45 yearling bulls, and a special consignment of three bulls from Bianchi Ranches. Additionally, we have 40 yearling heifer mates grown out on just grass to beef up your replacement pen. Once again, we will be having online viewing and live bidding withWestern Video Market in Partnership with DVAuction.com for our buyers not able to attend sale day. Videos of all lots will be available to see prior to sale day. Visit mcpheeredangus.com or DVAuctions.com for videos or call for more information. Hope to see you all on September 25th.
