FIRST YEAR BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE
There is a first year breeding season guarantee on all bulls in this sale offering. In the event of any issue(s)
arising during the first breeding season, we will resolve the matter with a replacement bull from our operation or
with sale credit to be used upon purchasing another bull from the next KEY Ranch Annual Production Sale. We
define sale credit as the original purchase price minus any possible salvage value (salvage value going directly to
the customer) minus a recouping value of $2,000 held by KEY Ranch. The recouping value is in place to insure that
we at least “break even” on the animal or recoup our input costs on the animal. An Example of our definition of sale
credit is shown below:
$10,000 (Original Purchase)
- $1,250 (Salvage Value - pocketed by the customer)
$8,750
- $2,000 (Recouping Value - Held by Key Ranch)
Equals - $6,750 (Sale Credit - Due the Customer)
GUARANTEES:
Bulls:
• All bulls in this sale offering are virgin bulls.
• All bulls have been selected for structural soundness.
• All bulls have undergone BVD-PI Testing and are negative.
• All bulls have been de-wormed, poured for lice, received 7-Way vaccination, and have been vaccinated against
respiratory diseases.
• All bulls will undergo a breeding soundness exam provided by Bertrand Veterinary Clinic before being delivered
to our customers.
• All Bulls have been determined by testing or lineage to be free of the following genetic defects:
AM - Arthrogryposis Multiplex (Curly Calf Syndrome)
NH - Neuropathic Hydrocephalus (Water Head)
CA - Contractural Arachnodactyly (Fawn Calf Syndrome)
OS - Osteopetrosis (Marble Bone Disease)
Heifers:
• All heifers in this sale offering have been vaccinated for Brucellosis (Bang’s Disease)
• All heifers have been de-wormed, poured for lice, received 7-Way vaccination, and have been vaccinated against
respiratory and breeding diseases.
• All heifers are guaranteed open.
• All heifers have undergone BVD-PI Testing and are negative.
